Then we made hand-turkeys at school. Super tare!
Finally, I went to Bucharest for Thanksgiving dinner at the Ambassador's residence hosted by current U.S. Ambassador Mark Gitenstein and his wife Libby. We ate dinner by the pool and I only took one picture all evening (sorry). Veronica, David, Gretel and I went to the Romanian Peasant Museum (Muzeul Ţăranului Român) before dinner to take in the collection of peasant clothing and weavings, painted eggs, handmade tools and religious iconography at what is often called Bucharest's best museum.
