The first 24+

I finally met the rest of Romania Group 26 few weeks ago in Washington D.C. We started off with 39 (but are down to 37 now). After a few hours of orientation we walked around to see some of the monuments/memorials. It was the first time I had seen the World War II Memorial.


The next day the flight from D.C. to Amsterdam left 2½ hours late. We missed the connecting flight—Naşpa! (bummer). But that meant that we got to spend the rest of the day in Amsterdam—Mişto! (cool). Here are some pictures I took while trying to stay awake on a canal tour.
